northwest summer fun

summer 2009, i camped twice under the star filled sky of the northwest. the air is so crisp, the trees are enormously tall. i had a brilliant time! if you're ever in the northwest, a visit to the olympic national park is a must. we camped at the hoh rain forest.

a scanner darkly (trailer)

the book, a scanner darkly by philip k. dick was adapted to the big screen in 2006. the rotoscope style of the movie takes you on a visually mind altering trip.

ceramic showcase

the oregon potters association had an amazing ceramic showcase at the oregon convention center this past weekend. the event also had a variety of woodworkers, beaders, jewelers, and glassblowers. i had a great time viewing beautiful works in clay, here are a few artists that caught my eye:
